WE ARE BOOKED IN! WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
First of all, awesome! From here I'd love to stay updated with your plans for the day. I 100% recommend getting in touch with me before you plan your ceremony and reception timing! A few months out from your wedding you can expect a questionnaire sent to you for you to fill out all about your day and plans. After that we will organise a Zoom/Facetime to catch up and discuss all the things!
WHEN DO WE HAVE OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
If you’ve also booked an engagement session it's a great idea to have your session within a few months of your wedding day, so it's all fresh in your mind!
WILL YOU HELP US WITH OUR WEDDING TIMELINE?
Yes, absolutely. I truly believe wedding photography is a collaborative process, and I like to work side by side with you as you plan your day.
DO YOU TAKE PHOTOS OF MY FAMILY AND GUESTS ON MY WEDDING DAY?
Yes. Immediately after the ceremony is the best time to get some photographs of your parents, siblings, grandparents and your closest loves.
I will discuss with you prior to your wedding exactly the sort of family photographs you are after. Whether it be candid or formal shots of family throughout the day/evening, table shots, couple shots, or all of the above! I've always got my eye on your guests throughout the day so I can capture everyone having a great time.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE WEDDING?
A couple of weeks are spent going through the hundreds of photographs taken from your day. Culling, sorting and processing with beautiful colours, light and sharpening. Your photographs will be delivered to you in an online gallery - able to be shared with all your friends and family.
WHEN DO I GET TO SEE OUR PHOTOS?
I’ll send you a small preview of your photos within a few days after your wedding. This is usually on the first or second weekday after your wedding day. The rest of your images will be ready 6-8 weeks after your wedding day.
HOW DO YOU BACK MY WEDDING PHOTOS UP?
I am meticulous about the storage of all the photos I take on your wedding day! The first day after your wedding is what I call 'Back up day!' 2 copies of every RAW* image taken on your wedding day are immediately backed up onto 3 separate hard drives. In addition to those copies, I do not remove the images off the memory card used on the day until the images are delivered.
After your wedding images have been delivered to you, I keep 2 copies of the JPG files on hard drive and Dropbox, and 1 copy of the corresponding RAW files for 12 months after your wedding date.
*RAW IMAGES - A raw file is the image that comes straight out of the camera, as seen by the camera's sensor. Think of it like unprocessed film. Raw files are named so because they are not yet processed and therefore are not ready to be printed, and can only be viewed by professional developing software until they are edited and converted into a JPG file.
HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP OUR PHOTOS FOR?
Your gallery will be online and active for 12 months after your wedding date! But from there you have the option of extending that timeframe through an annual hosting fee. This is available through the ‘shop’ featured in your gallery.

One of my most asked questions! I love to work with Matt and Tash from Design Patrol, Corey and Sam from Hunter Valley Video and Sophie from White Maple. All of these vendors are incredible at what they do and genuinely wonderful people to have around you on your wedding day!
