When to have a second photographer

  • You have 100 guests or more. Have a second pair of eyes and an extra lens is the best way to ensure we can get around and capture as many gorgeous faces of your favourite people as we can!

  • You are getting ready in separate places. This avoids the ‘guys getting ready 3 hours early so one photographer can shoot both’ scenario!

  • You want your amazing details photographed before the guests arrive Let’s face it, your reception looks absolutely banging for about 5 minutes before your guests come in with their big handbags and prams and start moving stuff around. A second photographer can slip in like a details ninja and capture it the way you’ve planned it and been dreaming of!

  • You want a lot of photos of your guests during the cocktail hour During that cocktail hour I am off with you, so who is capturing all of your guests basking in the afternoon glow, playing lawn games, sipping drinks and slamming canapés? It will be Aunty Sue on her iPad if you don’t get a second photographer.

  • The in-between moments that happen while I’m doing the ‘Traditional’ captures. I’m off with you while you sign the register but meanwhile your Nan is bawling back in the seats. Or your flower girl is doing something ridiculously cute while I’m doing your family photos. Cue second photographer to save the day!
